The best part of the game is that it still has a very large community constantly supplying it with custom made maps and modifications. Players with a higher skill level will have additional abilities or various advantages. Experience translates into experience points and the more points you earn the higher your skill level. Become an experienced soldierĮvery time you kill an opponent, or your team manages to accomplish its goals, you will get experience. Due to the fact that is only playable in multiplayer you will have to think a lot at your other teams members, develop strategies and different ways to surprise the enemy. The game can only be played in multiplayer mode: over the Internet with people from all over the world, or on LAN with your friends. Each class has different weapons and accessories so choose wisely. There are two sides you can choose from: the Allies and the Axis each of them featuring several classes: medic, engineer, etc. The uniform and all the weapons in the game are from that time period. The game's setting is that of the World War II. The engine is the same as the one from the original game with some graphics modifications made due to the id Tech 3 engine. Return To Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is a first person shooter game originally planned as n expansion for Return To Castle Wolfenstein and turned into a standalone game.
